HAINES CITY - Velma A. Plasited Hargraves age 87 of Haines City, Florida died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the Munroe Regional Medical Center, Ocala, Fl.

She was Born February 17, 1921 in Amesbury, Massachusetts, the daughter of Ralph L. and Enid V. Plaisted. Mrs. Hargraves  moved to this area in 1987 coming from the Merrimac, Massachusetts,  where she was a member of the Pentucket Regional Choral Society, Rebekah Lodge ant the American Legion Auxiliary. 

Preceded in death by her parents, sister, Eloise Dole and husband Daniel e. Hargraves, Jr.  She is survived bly her sons, Ronald E. Hargraves of Seabrook, New Hampshire, Barry R. Hargraves of Ocala, Florida, Daniel L. Hargraves of Navarre, Florida and daughter Janis E. Hutchins of Port Leyden, New York, 7 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren

 Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM., Friday, May 23, 2008, at the Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, Fl with the Reverend Pamela Rhodes, First United Methodist Church, Davenport, Fl. officiating. Final resting place will be with her husband at Locust Grove Cemetery, Merrimac, Massachusetts
