HAINES CITY - Myrtice M. Ivey age 89. of Dundee, Fl passed away Friday (4/9/08) at the Haines City Health Care from heart failure.

Born March 30,1919 in Sylvester, Georgia  the Daughter of George Allen and Lydia Ruby (Gunter) Sizemore, she had moved here in 1938 from Alapaha, Georgia  with her late husband Hugh D. Ivey, who passed in August 2006. Mrs. Ivey has worked as a sectionizer for Dundee Citrus Grower Association and was as member of Landmark Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Ivey is survived by her loving family of: sons, Dorsey Lloyd Ivey, Clarksville, Tn.;  David Gerald Ivey, Dundee, Fl; Roger LaDon Ivey, Auburndale, Fl.; Daughters,  Barbara Faye Ivey, Dundee, fl.; Anita Lynette Latto, Ft. Pierce, Fl.; Cynthia Ann Mixon, Dundee, Fl.; 12 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 to 7 PM.  with services  1:00 PM. Tuesday (5/13/08) at the Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, Florida  Interment will follow services at the Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City. Fl.
