WINTER HAVEN - Larry Allen Reading, 64 and Nancy S.  McMahan Reading, 56 of Winter Haven, died Saturday, March 22, 2008 in Plant City, FL due to an automobile accident.

 Nancy was born May 1, 1951 in Plant City, Fl and was a lifelong resident of the area.  She worked as a nurse reviewer for State Farm Insurance Company in Winter Haven and had previously worked as a nurse for Bond Clinic in Winter Haven.  She was also of the Baptist Faith and was a member of the La Sertoma Club and the Toastmasters Club.

 Preceded in death by her first husband Howard McMahan and a brother, Donald Surrency and a Daughter-in-Law, Lisa McMahan, she is survived by: a son, Howard McMahan of Auburndale, FL; a daughter, Dawn Thomas and her husband Rick  of Lake  Wales, FL; her mother, Mary Etta Surrency; a brother, Fred Surrency of Orlando;  two sisters, Audrey Gillespie of Plant City and Carolyn Hayman of Sorento, FL; and five grandchildren.

 Larry was born October 7, 1943 in Blackford County, IN and had moved to the area from Indiana in 1977.  He was an automobile mechanic; was of the Baptist Faith; and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. 

 Larry is survived by: five daughters, Tracey Brill and her husband John of Winter Haven, FL, Ty Elsenheimer  and her husband Jeff of Lake Hamilton, Tiffany Bell and her husband Gary of Orlando,  Amanda Reading of Winter Haven and Brandy Reading of Winter Haven; two sons, Jeff Blackhurst, II and his wife Stacey of Winter Haven and Tat Reading of Winter Haven; four brothers, Rick Constable, Terry Lea Reading, Ronald “Randy” Neff and Joey Neff all of Indiana; seven sisters, Cheryl Redwine, Kahlin Baker, Rita Daugherty, Sheila Sills, Kathy Constable, Nickey Wilson, and Mikey Jo Smith all of Indiana; ten grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
