HAINES CITY - Chester A. Steiniger, age 73  of Haines City  passed away Saturday at H. L. Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa from cancer. . He was born April 22, 1934 in Staten Island, New York and had moved to Haines City in 1988 from Marshall’s Creek, Pa. Mr. Steiniger was a retired New York City Fire Fighter and a member  and Past President of the New York Fire Fighters Association . He was also a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and Sweetwater Golf & Tennis and a Army Veteran.

He is survived by his wife Lois,

2 Daughters, Susan DiStefano of Brick, New Jersey and Judith Fix of Haines City, Fl

Friends may call from 2 – 4 PM. and 5 – 7 PM. Tuesday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral Mass will be 9:00 AM. Wednesday at St. Ann Catholic Church.
