LAKELAND, FL - Cora Jean Cheatham, 82, of Polo, IL died Saturday, March 15, 2006 at Winter Haven Hospital due to complications from Leukemia.

 Born August 11,1925 in Ottawa, IL she has been a Winter Resident of Lakeland, FL for over 17 years.  She was a homemaker ; a member of Hope Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven; and a member of the Polo Evening Womens Club in Polo, IL. 

Jean is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert G. Cheatham; a son, Craig Alan Cheatham of Polo, IL; a daughter, Nancy Malburg of Rockford, IL; and four grandchildren.  Funeral Services will be held in Polo, IL.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made in her name to  the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at www.leukemia.org.
