BARTOW - Joyce Mixon Anderson of Bartow, FL, passed away from cancer Friday, March 7, 2008 at her home.  She was 66 years old. 

A native of Tifton, Georgia, born January 7, 1942, Joyce moved to Bartow 20 years ago from Winter Haven.  She was retired as Office Manager from the Haines City Veterinary Hospital. Joyce was an avid bowler.  She was preceded in death by her first husband:  Charles Mixon. 

She is survived by her husband:  Martin G. Anderson of Bartow; her daughters:  Jana (Jerry) Nickles of Winter Haven, Debbie (Wayne) Ledford of Bartow, Kay Gates of Winter Haven; her sons:  Glenn (Tammy) McIntosh of Haines City, David (Tammie) Mixon of Eagle Lake, James (Carmen) Anderson and Todd (Wendy) Anderson, both of Bartow; her mother:  Bessie Youngblood of Haines City; and her brother:  Roger (Janell) Bass of Lake City, FL.   Joyce also has 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven.  Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday from the funeral home chapel.
