HAINES CITY - Lawrence "Larry" C. Steedley, Jr.  age 60 of Haines City, Florida passed away Friday (6/20/08) at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Steedley was born to Lawrence Clarence and Lyndal (McBride) Steedley, Sr. on August 6, 1947 in Frostproof, Florida and had moved to Haines City from Tennessee.  He had worked as a painter in general construction and was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church in Bowling Green, Fl.  Mr. Steedley has also served in the National Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Steedley, 2 Sons John Steedley of Haines City, and Daryl Steedley of Blacksburg, South Carolina, Step Children, Wayne Peyton and Tusha Linville,both of West Virginia. Mother Lyndal Sasser of Haines City, sister Phyllis Butler of Winter Haven, 11 Grandchildren.

 Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM. Tuesday (6/24/08) with Reverend Bob Bates officiating at Oak ridge Funeral Care, 1001 Grace Avenue, Haines City, Fl.  In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Apostolic Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church, 310 W.
