HAINES CITY - Charles G. Hudson, 79, of Haines City, FL passed away June 18, 2008 in Haines City. Charles was born on February 16,1929 in Philadelphia, PA to George and Mary Hudson.

He was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Constabulary In WW II. Charles retired after 26 years with the Philadelphia Gas Works as a heating & cooling technician. In 1989 Charles left Philadelphia for some world travels and settled in Haines City in 1991.

Charles is predeceased by his parents and his son, William Hudson.

He is survived by his wife Beverly McDowell-Hudson; sons, Charles G. Hudson Jr., and Robert Allan Hudson, both of Philadelphia, PA; brother, Frank Hudson of Philadelphia and grandchildren Michael Alexander, Eric Thomas, Christopher Ryan and William Paul Hudson all of Philadelphia.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 21, 2008 from 2-4 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, FL. Burial will take place in Philadelphia.
