JoMildred Thomas  AUBURNDALE, FLORIDA – Mrs. JoMildred Thomas of Auburndale, passed away Friday, June 13, 2008 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Residents Center in Auburndale from complications of a stroke. She was 80 years old.
A native of Tarpon Springs, FL, born January 2, 1928, JoMildred moved here in 1962 from Clearwater, FL. She was a homemaker, and was preceded in death by a son killed in Vietnam: James R. Potter. JoMildred is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Harold E. Thomas; her sons: Joseph (Laurie) Thomas of Auburndale, Michael E. (Judy) Thomas of Auburndale, and Rick Thomas of Winter Haven. She also has two daughters: Sharon (David) Shumate of Auburndale, and Deborah (James) Sutton of Starke, FL. JoMildred is also blessed with 25 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 PM from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park. Condolences to the family can be sent to: www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
