DAVENPORT - James E. Arthur, age 82 of Davenport, Florida passed away Friday (May 30, 2008) at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center  in Haines City, Florida.

Mr. Arthur was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and had made his home in Davenport, Fl. after retiring with 39 years of service at  Sears where he was a Salesman in the appliance division. Mr. Arthur also served his country in WWI having served in the Army Air Corps.

He is survived by his wife Agnes, 2 sons, 2 daughter, 1 brother, 1 sister , 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
