Charles "Dusty" Wilkinson 

 

DAVENPORT - Charles "Dusty" Wilkinson, 87, of Davenport, FL, died July 30, 2008, in Haines City, FL.

 

He was born January 1, 1921 in Baltimore Maryland. Dusty retired from the US Army after 30 years of service, including service during WW II, at the rank of Major. After his service in WW II he returned to Baltimore where he worked for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Co., then he and his family moved to the Poconos Mountains and he worked as a shipping manager for Weiler Brush Co. in Cresco, PA. In 1982 he and his wife moved to Davenport from the Poconos, PA. He was a member of the Wagon Wheels Square Dance Club in St. Cloud, Fl.

 

Dusty is survived by his wife, of 58 years, Dorothy Wilkinson; sons James Lance Wilkinson and his wife Vija of St. College, PA and Joel Cameron Wilkinson; grandchildren, Scott Cameron and Julia Irene Wilkinson.
