Clifford Gary Conner
KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA – Clifford Gary Conner of Lake Alfred, FL passed away Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee from heart failure. He was 60 years old.
A native of Soperton, GA, born February 14, 1948, Clifford has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a retired Deli Manager for Albertson’s Supermarket, was a disabled US Army veteran that received the Silver Star and the Bronze Star for meritorious service in Vietnam. Clifford was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Conner.
He is survived by his brothers: James of Blue Ridge, GA; Hugh of Tampa, FL; Roy of Ware Shoals, SC; Wayne of Auburndale, FL; Glenn of Lake Alfred, FL; Billy of Winter Haven, FL; and Michael of Lakeland, FL. Clifford also has two sisters: Betty K. Dukes of Winter Haven, FL and Gail Harrison of Lake Alfred, FL.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4:00 PM from the Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral services will be under the direction of Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Home in Vidalia, GA later this week. |
