HAINES CITY - Thelma Devers, 89 of Haines City, FL passed away Thursday (July 4, 2008) at Brandywyne  Health Care in Winter Haven.

Mrs. Devers was born April 4,1917 in Frankfort, Kentucky and had moved here in 1993 from Virginia. She was a homemaker and a member of the Nazarene Church in Haines City. 

She was preceded in death by her son Ernie Devers of Beckley, W. Va. and a sister Mary Raisor of Lakeland, Fl. Mrs. Devers is survived by her daughter Delphia Pieper of Hines City, Sister Florence Dykes of Mason, Ohio, Brothers Floyd Smith of Frankfort, Ky. Clarence Smith of Salinas, California, Russell Smith of Frankfort, Ky.; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
