James R. "Jim" Allred 


HAINES CITY -- Mr. James R. "Jim" Allred of Haines City, Florida died Tuesday, January 29, 2008, in Haines City. He was 65.
He was born on November 17, 1942 to Woody and Sarah Elizabeth Tippett Allred in Asheboro, North Carolina, he moved to Haines City in November 2003 from New London, North Carolina. Jim was a Maintenance supervisor with Philip Morris USA in Concord, North Carolina but has been disabled since 1990, he was of the Methodist Faith. Jim served in the US Navy for nine and a half years as an Aviation Mechanic, being stationed in Hawaii, Iceland and Memphis.

He is predeceased by his parents, and his brother, Jerry Allred. Jim is survived by his wife, of 23 years, Rebecca "Becky" Allred; sons, Kelly Allred and his wife Angie and their son Logan of Concord, North Carolina, David Allred and his wife  Charlotte and their son Nicholas they are also expecting a baby in February of Virginia Beach, Virginia where he is serving in the US Navy, and Randy Clayton and his wife, Belinda of New London, North Carolina; brother, June Allred and his wife Faye of Asheboro, North Carolina and sister Anne Morgan and her husband Clanie of Robbins, North Carolina, and his Baby Girl, Prissy.
Memorial service  will be Friday February 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m at Oak Ridge Funeral Care with Reverend Rick Jenks of First United Methodist Church of Haines City, Florida officiating.
