AUBURNDALE - Richard Allen Penney, 34, of Auburndale died Sunday, January 27, 2008 at his residence due to cancer.
Born October 19, 1973 in Bartow, FL, he was a lifelong resident of Lakeland, FL before moving to Auburndale 6 months ago. He was a Maintenance Mechanic for Alabama Industries in Plant City and a member of Eloise United Methodist Church.
He is survived by: his wife of 7 years, Candice Penney; his mother, Lila Marlene Penney; 3 sons, Thomas Lucas Penney, Ty Ryan Penney and Tanner Riley Penney all of Auburndale; a daughter, Hannah Rae Penney of Auburndale; 5 sisters, Martha Damon of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Darlene Pittman of Lakeland, Jonnie Ford of Lakeland, Sheritha Lucas of Lakeland and Rebecca Johnson of Lakeland.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm till 8:00pm, Wednesday January 30, 2008 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Boulevard, Winter Haven. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, January 31, 2008 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jessie Stanfield officiating, Interment will follow at Socrum Cemetery in Lakeland.
