Mrs. Myrtle Makuta of Winter Haven, FL passed away Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the Haines City Health Care.  She was 88 years old. 

A native of Raritan, New Jersey, born September 19, 1919, Myrtle moved to Florida 17 years ago from New Jersey.  She was retired from Mobile Chemical Company in Washington New Jersey, and she was a Catholic. 

Her husband Thomas E. Makuta, Sr. predeceased her.  She is survived by her son:  Thomas Makuta, Jr. and his wife Helen of Winter Haven, FL; and her daughter:  Mary Ann McCooe of Easton, PA.  Myrtle also has 4 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
