HAINES CITY - Blanche L. Hatton, 86, of Haines City, FL, died Wednesday, January 23, 2008, due to heart failure.
She was born in Lakeland, GA on January 27, 1921 and she moved to Haines City in 1942. She was a licensed Practical Nurse, retiring in 1985 from the Heart of Florida Hospital in Haines City. Mrs. Hatton was a member of Westside Baptist Church; Haines City.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Glenn T. Johnson and Michael Hatton; sisters, Eunice Cowart, Evelyn Cain; brothers, Bob Lightsey, C.L. Lightsey; honorary daughter, Jeanette Humphrey; and grandson Michael Dolbier. She is survived by her children with Glenn Johnson; Joyce Dolbier of Gainesville, FL, Sandra Witmer of Haines City, and Thomas Johnson of Rogue River, OR; brother Russell Lightsey of Plant City, FL; honorary sister, Ann Garrett of Haines City; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 1-2 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial at Forest Hill Cemetery. Condolences may be sent via www.oakridgefuneralcare.com
