DUNDEE - Loca
"Granny" Denmark, 88, of Dundee, FL, died
January 20, 2008, in Plant City, FL. due to
a stroke.
She was born October 24, 1919 in Dundee, FL,
and has been a lifelong resident of the
area. Loca was a homemaker and a member of
Sharon Primitive Baptist Church of Haines
City, Fl and was very active in the
Primitive Baptist Church with the Mt. Enon
Association of Florida and the Mud Creek
Association of Alabama.
Her husband, J.M. Denmark, preceded her in
death. Loca is survived by her children,
Wallace "Bud" Denmark of Dundee, Fl, Gale
Slocumb of Woodville, AL, Geneva Stokes of
Winter Haven, FL, Victor Denmark of Lake
Alfred, Fl and Elder George Denmark of
Woodville, AL; numerous grandchildren, great
grandchildren and great- great
grandchildren.
Visitation will
be Tuesday 01/22/08 from 5-8 p.m. at Oak
Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral
services will be Wednesday 01/23/08 at 10:30
a.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be
