HAINES CITY - Donald Miller, 77, of Haines City, FL, died January 16, 2008 in Orlando, FL.
He was born March 13, 1930 in Scribner, Nebraska, and moved to the Polk County area in 1972 from Alaska. Donald was a heavy equipment operator, a mechanic and a woodcrafter; he was also of the Methodist faith. Donald loved his Family and his friends; he also loved fishing and his penny slots.
He was predeceased by his son, Vern Allen Miller and he is survived by his wife, of 59 years, Anita Miller; children, Donnie Lee Miller, Virgil Dean Miller, Penny Lou Grady and Bruce Dale Miller; he is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Saturday January 19, 2008 at 12 noon at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, FL. The family has asked that memorials be sent in lieu of flowers to American cancer society. Condolences may be sent via www.oakridgefuneralcare.com
