DAVENPORT - Mrs. Constance D. Sawyer of Davenport, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at her home. She was 81.

She was born to Antonio Damore and Mary Fiorella Damore on December 29, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She had a heart bigger than life. She was always on the go and full of hope and energy. Connie started her life as a Sabbath School teacher, she taught grammer school in Norristown, Pennsylvania, she was also a teacher of Special Education. She loved children. She continued her education and became an Activity Technician at the State of Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services. She loved helping people. Later she went into Real Estate and was good at that. She had a strong love for God and continued teaching Ministry at the church in Winter Haven and Haines City. She used all the God-given talents and skills she was Blessed with. Connie will always be remembered and stay in our hearts.

She is survived by her husband, John E. Sawyer; sons, Mark and Antonio Storti and brothers, Larry and Antonio Damore.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. Pastor Walter Waier of The Seventh Day Adventist Church will officiate.
