Wilson Alford

HAINES CITY - Wilson A. "Red" Alford, 72, of Haines City, FL, died January 12, 2008, at his residence due to cancer.
He was born August 15, 1935 in Opp, Alabama, and moved to Haines City from Opp when he was 15. Red owned and operated W.A. Alford Harvesting, Inc. and he was of the Baptist faith. Red really loved to fish and spend time with his family. He is survived by his wife, of 53 years, Geraldine Alford; daughter, Patricia Alford of Haines City; grandson, Michael Towns and his wife Stacey M. of Haines City; great grandson, Austin Michael Towns of Haines City; sister, Hazel Dawson of Haines City; brothers, James Alford of Auburndale, FL, Archie Alford of Long View, TX, and Dempsey Alford of Port Orange, FL.
Visitation will be Tuesday 1/15/08 from 5-7 p.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral services will be Wednesday 1/16/08 at 2 p.m. at Still Water Christian Life Center.
