Paul E. Suit
DAVENPORT - Paul E. Suit,
age 81, of Davenport, FL, went home January 11,
2008, in Davenport due to a heart attack.
He was born July 16, 1926 in Rockmart, GA, and
moved to Davenport in 1951 from there. He was a
veteran of the U.S. Army and Air Force serving
in both W.W. II and Korea. He had retired from
Holly Hill after working there for 40 years; he
was a member of Shamrock First Baptist Church, a
member of the Teamsters Local 444, and a member
of the American Legion.
His wife, Ruby Suit and a son, Bobby Suit,
precede him in death. Paul is survived by his
children, Rex Suit and Tony Suit both of
Davenport, Tommy Suit of Ft. Pierce, FL, Bret
Suit of Indiana, Janet McCord of Haines City,
Pamela Anhalt and Gail Carnley both of
Davenport; sister, Ruth Harris of Taylorsville,
GA; 18 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren;
and 8 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 pm at Oak
Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral
services will be Tuesday at 11 am at Shamrock
First Baptist Church.
The family has asked that memorials be made to
Shamrock First Baptist Church, building fund
2661 Marshall Road, N., Haines City, FL 33844.
