HAINES CITY - Cynthia B. "Squids Mom" Travis, age 70 of Haines City, Florida passed away Monday at her residence from heart failure.

She was born in Haines City Florida on October 16, 1937 and had moved back to Haines City from Savannah, Ga. In 1964 where she worked as a cashier at the Cross Country Truck Plaza in Davenport.

She was preceded in death by her Parents Vernon and Marcelle Deen, son, Steven Michael Bates and sister, Belinda Deen. Mrs. Travis is survived by her beloved dog Regis and family of two Daughters, Sydney Carnley and Jo Greene of Haines City. Two Sons, Donny Travis of Cleveland, Tennessee, and Punky Travis of Haines City, two Brothers Gene Smart of Dundee, Victor Deen of Savannah, 10 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 PM. Saturday till services at 2PM. Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, Florida.
