Naomi Marcia Watts Spicer WINTER HAVEN - Naomi Marcia Watts Spicer of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the Winter Haven Hospital. She was 95 years old.
A native of Marion, Connecticut, born September 3, 1912, Naomi moved to Winter Haven in 1979 from Indiana. She was a retired beautician; was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Brookside Chapter #481 of Indianapolis, and she was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Winter Haven.
Naomi was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years: Francis Hurbert Spicer. She is survived by her son: Gene A. Spicer of Laytonville, CA; her sister: Betty Moon of Winter Haven; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild on the way; a nephew: Dan Moon of Texas; her nieces: Julie Quinn of Winter Haven, Sally Kiem of Crescent City, CA, Jody Tucker of North Carolina, and the joy of her life-her great niece Gracie Quinn.
Visitation will be from 12 to 2 PM Saturday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church.
