Marion A. Meadows

mARION Meadows
 
WINTER HAVEN - Mrs. Marion A. Meadows (formerly of Avon Park) passed away Saturday, February 23, 2007 at New Horizon Share Home in Winter Haven from COPD.  She was 87 years old. 

A native of Rush, New York, born Decembeer 28, 1920, Marion moved to Avon Park in 1945.  She and her late husband operated a dry cleaning business for several years, then she worked for Wellcraft Boat Company (formerly Crutchfield Marine), and after that she was a clerk for 32 years for Metcalf Hardware in Avon Park. 

Marion was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years:  Tommy F. Meadows. 

She is survived by her two daughters:  Marcia (Powell) Skipper of Sebring, FL, and Mary Jane (Chris) Meadows-Butler of Winter Haven, FL.  Marion also has three grandchildren:  Jason & Jenny LaManna; and Powell H. Skipper, III; and four great-grandchildren:  Brayden Timothy LaManna, Jacob Ward, Devin & Corbin Rednock.
