HAINES CITY, Florida - Ellie V. Mofield - Fowler passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 in Haines City. She was 69.

Born to Harrison R. Mofield and Ellie Marie Franks Mofield on October 30, 1938 in Bassett, Arkansas, she came here in 1952 from Joiner, Arkansas. She worked for 14 years at Lawhorn's Restaurant and also for Haines City Citrus Growers Association. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church.

Ellie is survived by by her sons, Jimmy, Kenneth and Winford Fowler, daughter Carol Brown; brothers, Harrison, Gordon and David Mofield; sisters, Peggy McGill, Sue Sandusky and Rita Mofield; five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care. Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. Pastor Charles Harkala of Good Shepherd Hospice will officiate. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
