Ralph Eugene Chrystal 


HAINES CITY - Ralph Eugene Chrystal, widower of Eleanor Packer Chrystal passed on into eternity on Monday, February 11, 2008 after a brief illness.  Ralph and Eleanor had been residents of Royal Palm Village, Haines City, Florida for over 25 years, moving there from Bristol, Connecticut.  Ralph was born December 14, 1918 in New Britain, Connecticut and was the son of the late Eugene Gilmore and Julia Eva (Wolf) Chrystal.  Ralph was a very active member in the Royal Palm Village Community and was also an Army Veteran who served in WWII under General Patton.
 
Ralph is survived by his daughter and son-in-law John and Bonnie (Chrystal) Lodovico and granddaughters Chrystal and Ashley Lodovico of Bristol, Connecticut.  Also, his son and daughter-in-law Gary and Patricia Chrystal and grandson Joshua Chrystal, of Coventry, Connecticut and granddaughter Melanie Brant of Monson, Massachusetts.  In addition to his parents, Ralph was predeceased by his sister, Jeanette (Chrystal) Jones of Essex, Connecticut.
 
Funeral Services will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Haines City, Florida.  Burial will be at the discretion of the family.  Memorial Donations may be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 102 North 9th Street, Haines City Florida 33845.
