WINTER HAVEN - Raymond Wilson Goodell, 85, of Winter Haven, FL died Sunday, February 3, 2008 at the Winter Haven Hospital due to Heart Failure. 

Born May 29, 1922 in Smyrna, Arkansas, he moved to the area 60 years ago.  Raymond was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; he was retired from State Farm Insurance Company where he worked as a stockman; and was a veteran of WWII where he served in the Army Air Corps and retired from the U.S. Air Force.   He was also a member of the American Legion.

Raymond is survived by: his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Goodell; 4 sons, Daniel R. Goodell, Kenneth Goodell, Wayne Goodell and Douglas Goodell, all of Winter Haven, FL; nine brothers and sisters; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm till 7:00pm, Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, FL.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am, Friday, February 8, 2008 in the Funeral Home Chapel. 

Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
