HAINES CITY - Thomas  "Tom"  P. Hoag, age 77 of Haines City passed away Sunday (12/28) at the Life Care Center of Winter Haven from cancer.

Mr. Hoag was born in San Francisco, California on March 12, 1931 and moved from Kentucky to Haines City in 1957, where he owned Thomas P. Hoag Accounting Service till his retirement in 1996. He was a graduate of Centre College in Kentucky and Army Veteran. He was a past member of the Haines City Jaycees, Kiwanis Club, and the Board of Adjustments in Haines City. He was also a member of the Lake Region Yacht and Country Club and the Kentucky Colonels.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years  Zada L. Hoag; Daughter, Cathie Smith of Davenport, Fl; Son, Thomas David Hoag of Bradenton, Fl. .; 3 Grandsons – Ryan Moore, Derek Moore and Justin Hoag.

Family and friends will gather 2:00 PM. Friday (1/2/09) in the fellowship hall of the First Baptist Church, 120 W. Maple St. Davenport, Fl.
