WINTER HAVEN - Norma J. Baker passed away suddenly from an aneurysm on December 26, 2008.
She was born and lived in Indianapolis, Indiana until 4 years ago. She then moved to Winter Haven after the passing of her husband, Jean after 63 years of marriage. She retired from the Indianapolis Racket Club and also worked in the family pharmacy and at Navel Aeronautics during WWII making bomb sites. She was an accomplished seamstress and artist who participated in many art fairs and shows.
She is survived by her son Terry, his wife Becky, two granddaughters, Holly Kalous (Mike) and Kelly Ness (Jeff) and six great grandchildren, Mason , Max , Mallory and, Macy Ness, Sebastian and Austin Kalous.
A private family gathering will be held reflecting her life. Many thanks to the staff, friends and her acquaintances at Spring Haven Retirement Community for making her transition to Florida a pleasant one.
