WINTER HAVEN -  David W. Duphette "Canadian Dave" of Winter Haven passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008 from complications of a stroke he suffered Nov. 22, 2008 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. 

Survived by his beloved wife Sherril Hatmaker Duphette,  he was born in Chatham, Ontario Canada Mar. 2, 1948 and was a winter resident of Florida since 1972.  He moved to Florida  in 2000 to become a permanent resident of the United States of which he was very proud. A Detroit Tiger fan he was a season ticket holder at "Tigertown" since 1972, Section 106, Seats 1& 2, Row GG will forever hold his memory. 

He is also survived by: his mother, Lucy Duphette and a son, Dean Duphette, both of Canada. 

Interment will be in Chatham, Ontario next to his beloved son, Dan and father, Vital.
