HAINES CITY - Lyndal F. Sasser passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2008 in Haines City.
She was 87.

Born to Joseph Elison McBride and Jennie Frances King McBride in Emanuel County, Georgia on December 20, 1920, she moved to Haines City from Swainsboro, Georgia in 1935. She had worked as and LPN in private duty nursing and was a member of Landmark Baptist Church of Haines City.

Lyndal was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Clinton Sasser in 1977 and son, Larry Steedley in 2008. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Butler of Starr, South Carolina; daughter-in-law Janice Steedley of West Virginia; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM. Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City. Chaplain John San Cartier of Cornerstone Hospice will officiate.
