WINTER HAVEN - Mrs. Cynthia Lynn Cope passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 in Winter Haven. She was 49.

Born to Raymond Lamar Caraway and Emily Elizabeth Lassiter Caraway on November 18, 1959, she was a lifelong resident of the area. Cynthia was a homemaker that loved cooking and photography. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Lake Wales.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Raymond. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Ronald W. Cope; children, Holly E. Kelsey of Kennesaw, Georgia and Ashley A. Cope of Winter Haven; brothers, Austin Alan Caraway of Auburndale, Curtis Lamar Caraway of Pennsylvania; sister, Valerie "Kay" Dewitt of Auburndale; two nephews and several nieces.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. Pastor Samuel J. Quinn of Grace Baptist Church of Lake Wales will officiate. Interment will be at Auburndale Memorial Park.
