HAINES CITY, Florida -- Mr. Jerome A. Brady, Sr. died on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 in Orlando, Florida. He was 68.

Born on October 18, 1939 in Minersville, Pennsylvania to Francis James and Michalena Borinsky Brady, he moved to Haines City in 1976 from Baltimore, Maryland. Jerome was a vice president of sales for Dumond Chemicals.He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of American Legion, Yale Yarnall Post #34 of Haines City. He was Christian by faith.

Jerome is survived by his wife, Dora Waltrapp Brady; son, Jerome Brady, Jr. of Lake Alfred, Florida; brother, Francis L. "Buddy" Brady of Maryland; sister, Mary Teresa Fotto of Maryland; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Jerome was preceded in death by his son, Robert Waltrapp.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida with Pastor Michael Andriano officiating.  Military honors will be provided by the Sumter Volunteer Honor Guard.
