AUBURNDALE - Carolyn G. Jones of Auburndale, Florida passed away Sunday, August 24, 2008 at home from COPD.  She was 63 years old. 

A native of Wheeling, W. Virginia, born November 11, 1944, Carolyn moved here November of 2003 from Virginia Beach, Virginia.  She retired as librarian for the John McCain Library at the Little Creek Navy Amphibious Base, and she was a Presbyterian. 

She is survived by her husband:  John D. Jones, Sr. of Auburndale; her sons:  John D. Jones, Jr. of Miami, FL; Jeffrey C. Jones of Virginia Beach, VA; and James E. Jones of Elizabeth City, NC.  Carolyn also has a sister:  Donna Abbott of Mt. Carbon, WV, and four grandchildren.
