BARTOW - Hilda Welch Krol, 69, of Bartow, FL died Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Good Shepherd Hospice Resident Center in Auburndale, due to cancer.

 Born August 1, 1939 in Eloise, Fl to Garrell and Catherine Wynn Welch, she has been a resident of the area for most of her life. She was a retired Asst. Town Clerk for the City of Lake Hamilton and was of the Baptist Faith.

Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by: a daughter, Anita H. Shearer of Bartow, FL; two sisters, Shirley Ronnenberg of Franklin, NC and Bonnie F. Osteen of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
