WINTER HAVEN - Sherelene "Sherry" Arntz, 78, of Winter Haven died Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Life Care Center Nursing Home in Winter Haven due to Respiratory Arrest.

 Sherry was born October 20, 1929 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Leonard & Jessie Jenkins.  She moved from LaFayette, Indiana to Winter Haven in 1977.  She worked as a legal secretary and as a secretary/feature writer for the Orlando Sentinel and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Winter Haven, where she previously served as a church board member and adult Sunday School teacher. 

 She is survived by her husband, Richard "Arnie" Arntz of Winter Haven; two daughters, Cathy Philbrick and Linda Bailey of Winter Haven; a son, Keith Bower of Winter Haven; three brothers, Lloyd Jenkins of Kokomo, IN, Charles Jenkins of Monticello, IN and Jerry Jenkins of Delphi, IN; a step-brother, Tom Parsley of Monticello, IN; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
