HAINES CITY - Virginia "Ginny" Steffano, 83, of Haines City, FL, died Monday, March 31, 2008, in Haines City due to renal failure.
She was born March 22, 1925 in Crab Orchard, KY, and moved to Florida in 1979 from Dayton, OH and moved to Haines City in 1984. Ginny was a retired production laborer with General motors and was a member of the United Auto Worker’s Union and was protestant by faith. Her hobbies included fishing and spending time with her family and friends.
Her husband, of 46 years, Ralph Steffano and her sister, Christine Hubbard, precede her in death. Ginny is survived by her sons, Ralph Steffano and his wife Joyce of Haines City, Gerald Steffano and his wife Peggy of Columbus, OH; brother, Ray Ball and his wife Beatrice of Crab Orchard; grandsons, Alexander, Mark, Michael and Matthew Steffano; great grandchildren, Seth and Alexandra Steffano.
Visitation will be Friday 4/04/08 from 1-2 p.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Condolences may be sent via www.oakridgefuneralcare.com
