WINTER HAVEN - Gerald "Jerry" W. Emerson of Winter Haven, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008 at home from heart failure.  He was 75 years old.

Born in Silverwood, MI  on July 8, 1932, He moved to Florida in 1975 and was the founder of Emerson Trailers in Auburndale. Gerald served in the US Army during the Korean War, and was an active member of The American Legion and The Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his daughter Brenda, his son David, his 7-year old grandson Gerald and his 16-month old granddaughter Malina. 

Funeral services will be Friday, April 4, 2008 at 10 AM from the Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.  Interment will be 2:00 PM Friday at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell with the American Legion Post 8 performing military honors.
