HAINES CITY - Edward Francis Trafton Jr., 85, of Haines City passed away May 30, 2007 in Haines City due to renal failure.

 
Edward was born March 26, 1922 in Portsmouth, NH to Edward F. Trafton and Celia Dufresne Trafton. Mr. Trafton was an engineer in the Submarine Design Division at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, NH, after retiring from the shipyard he spent ten years at the Naval Ships Command in Washington DC. He moved from Mineral, VA to Haines City in 1994.

 
Mr. Trafton is survived by his wife, Joyce Burzynski Trafton of Haines City; children, Carol Trafton Dale, Gilford, NH, Edward R. Trafton, Fredricksburg, VA, Rae Trafton (James) Lipshultz, Canterbury, NH; step children, Jennifer (Gordon) Rosenberry, Cincinnati, OH, Thomas (Amy) Burzynski, Fairfield, OH; 10 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson; brothers, Bradley Trafton, Ocala, Fl and Frederick Trafton, E. Rutherford, NJ.

Edward was a member of the First Christian Church of Haines City, where services and inurnment will be held at a later date.
