HAINES CITY, Florida - Mrs. Emma Carol S. Cobourn of Haines City died on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at her home. She was 67.

Born to Van Buren Ball and Lucy Ball on October 9, 1939 in Greenview, West Virginia, she came here in 1992 from Homestead, Florida. She retired as an Automotive Clerk with the U.S.D.A. in Winter Haven.

Mrs. Cobourn is survived by her husband of 23 years, Fred M. Cobourn;  sons, Frederick L. Smith, Jr. of Arizona, Jeffrey Michael Smith and Robert L. Smith both of West Virginia; brothers, Van Buren Ball, Jr., Johnny Ball and Joe Ball all of West Virginia; sisters, Jeanette Bias and Tenna Laura Wooline both of West Virginia and Nora Ball of Florida; granddaughter, Whitley Dawn Smith and grandson, Frederick L.
Smith, III.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City.
