HAINES CITY - Dorothy Louise Scholl, 86, of Haines City, died Monday, March 26, 2007 at Winter Haven Hospital due to Pneumonia and heart complications.

Born July 14, 1920 to Ralph C. and Viola Keckler in Carroll County, IL , she has been a resident of the area since moving here 13 years ago from Polo, IL. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Faith. She was a member of: the Utopian Club in Polo, IL; she loved to play golf and was a member of the Polk County Ladies Golf Assn and the Sun Aire Ladies Golf Assn in Haines City, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by: her husband of 67 years, Russell Scholl; a son, Gary Lee Scholl of Palm Harbor, FL; a daughter, Gloria Jean Butler of Polo, IL; a sister, Lola Jean Brantner of Polo, IL; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm., Friday, March 30, 2007 in the Chapel of Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, FL, with Pastor Charles Harkala officiating.
