LAKELAND - Gladys Eudora Partin of Lakeland, passed away Tues. March 20, 2007 at her residence from heart failure. She was 97.

A native of Arab Alabama, Gladys has been a resident of the area since 1918. She was a homemaker, and a member of Faith Baptist Church of Polk City. Gladys was also a former member of the Winter Haven Garden Club, and the Bartow Art Guild.

Her husband W.H. “Bill” Partin, and her son William “Bud” Partin precedes her.

She is survived by her son: Gene Partin of Orlando, FL; her daughters: Judy Diane Nelms of Lakeland, and Alice Olenberg of Wynnewood, PA; her sisters: Jackie Malyurek of Sheridan, WY, Velma Howell of Ft. Meade, FL, and Clois Merkel of Lakeland, FL. Gladys also has ten grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Gladys will be Thursday from 9 to 10 AM. Funeral Services will follow at 10 AM from the Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memorial Park in Winter Haven.
