Annabelle McTeer

HAINES CITY - Annabelle McTeer, age 98, of Haines City, FL, died Sunday, 03/11/07, in Davenport, FL. due to natural causes.

Born 02/05/09 in Walterboro, SC, and moved to Haines City in 1953 from Eagle Lake. She retired as a supervisor for Snively Groves and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for over 50 years, she also volunteered as an election poll worker.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon H. McTeer; daughter, Eleanor Walsh and son, Ted McTeer; she is survived by her sons, Hinson McTeer of Haines City, FL, Everett McTeer of Kissimmee, FL, Bobby McTeer of Georgetown, Fl, Fred L. McTeer of Haines City, FL; daughters, Doris Maxwell of St. Pete, FL, Merle Jones of Lakeland, FL, Arlene Emenaker of El Segundo, CA, Shirley Chapman of Haines City, FL; sister, Vernelle Craven of Walterboro, SC, 30 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren and 5 great-great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday 03/14/07 from 6-8  p.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral services will be Thursday 03/15/07 at 11 a.m. at Eastside Baptist Church, Haines City.
