DAVENPORT - Donald O. Darrin, 83, Born in Detroit MI on March 8, 1923, passed away March 6, 2007 in Davenport, FL.

He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 34, Haines City, Fl where he served a chaplain for several years as well as being on the honor guard and a lifetime member of the VFW, he was also a Marine Corp decorated veteran of W.W.II where he received the purple heart.

He is survived by 3 sons, Donald O. Darrin Jr. of Fort Walton Beach, Fl; Stanley Louis Darrin of Heflin, AL; Daniel Darrin of CA; 2 daughters, Carol Zeigler of Davenport, FL; and Shirley Doughty of West Palm Beach, Fl; 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
