WINTER HAVEN - My Sweet Terry, Terry dedicated his life to me, his wife! He gave me all his love - and you can only guess how much happiness he gave me. Terry, my husband, was the most patient, understanding, loving, serving, and committed to what is really and truly important in life. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and they will become one flesh Genesis - 2:24. Terry truly honored and lived and fulfilled the Word of God.

Terry Richard Shelton, 54 of Winter Haven, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at the Winter Haven Hospital due to heart failure.

A native of Huntington, Indiana, Terry moved here 20 years ago from Indiana. He was a loyal linesman for the Bartow Air Base, and a member of the Family Worship Center of Winter Haven & Lakeland.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Kim Obremski Shelton of Winter Haven; his son, Terron (Kari) Shelton of Lakeland; his daughter, Stacia Ann (Robert) Feiel of Tennessee; his mother, Marcella Spencer of Wabash, IN.; his father and stepmother, Jack and and Anne Shelton of Plant City; his sister, Roxie (Dale) Spaulding of Shell Lake, WS; his step-brother, Kent Shelton of Lakeland; his step-sister Lisa Thompson of Lakeland. Terry also has three grandchildren.

Terry was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles Greensly.

Visitation will be Saturday from 2-6 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral Services will be Sunday at 3:00 PM from the Oak Ridge Chapel.
