HAINES CITY, Florida -- Mrs. Dorothy Marie Swearingen died Tuesday, January 23, 2007 in Auburndale, Florida. She was 71.

Born to Edwin Villers Teal and Lucille Virginia Keller Teal on April 29, 1935 in Maumee, Ohio, she moved here from Monclova, Ohio in 1985. She was an Accounts Payable Clerk. She graduated from the University of Toledo, Ohio, she attended Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Haines City.

Mrs. Swearingen was preceded in death by her son Andrew Owens Lowry; she is survived by her husband, Robert E. Swearingen; son, William James Lowry of Haines City; daughters, Jennifer Kay Hedinger of Columbus, Georgia and Annette Marie Freiburger of Buchear, Missouri; brother, Edwin Villers Teal, Jr. of Maumee, Ohio; sister Virginia Birkenkamp of Toledo, Ohio and three grandchildren.

A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Haines City. Reverend Mark Bernthal officiated.
