HAINES CITY -- Mr. Richard E. "Dick" Hebel passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2007. He was 69.

 

Born to Frederick Hebel and Helen Shetter Hebel on October 30, 1937 in Haines City, he was a lifelong resident. He was a veteran of the United States Navy Reserves, a pipe fitter and welder with Local  #624 of Tampa, he was a member of the Central Florida Air and Powerboat Association and an avid fisherman. He was Jehovah's Witness by Faith

Mr. Hebel was preceded in death by his wife, Doris J. Gadberry Hebel; he is survived by his sons, Randall Hebel and David Hebel of Florence, South Carolina, Michael Hebel of Lake City, Florida and Daniel Hebel and wife, Jennifer of Lake Wales, Florida; brother, Thomas Hebel and wife, Joyce of Okeechobee, Florida; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

 

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am Thursday, January 18, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. Funeral Services will follow at 11 am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Jim Baxter will officiate.

Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City.
