WINTER HAVEN - Floyd R. Elliott, 82 of Winter Haven, passed away Wednesday, 1/3/07 at Spring Lake Nursing Center from leukemia.

A native of Galesburg, IL, Floyd moved here 15 yrs ago from Long Island, NY. He was a retired truck driver, a US Navy, World War II veteran; member of American Legion Post 8 of Winter Haven, the V.F.W. of Inverness; the Winter Haven Masonic Lodge #186 F&AM; the Winter Haven Moose Lodge, and the Scottish Rite.

Floyd is survived by his wife: Lillian L. Elliott, 7 children, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Saturday, 4:30 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven.
