WINTER HAVEN - Gerald C. Edmonds, age 63, of Winter Haven, FL., died of cancer Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at Bartow Regional Medical Center.

Born Sept. 6, 1943 in Flint, MI, he moved to Florida in 1970. He has been working for Global Produce Sales in Lakeland since 1995. Prior to 1995 he sold citrus for Lake Wales CGA. Gerald also had been a member and Past President of the Winter Haven Jaycees.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Nidiffer and Dorothy Edmonds; a son, Brian Keith Edmonds; and two sisters, Joyce Ann Furden and Karen Elaine Dohrman; and a step-mother, Eleanor G. Edmonds.

He is survived by: his wife of 43 years, Carolyn M Edmonds; Three Sons, Gerald Scott Edmonds of Punta Gorda, FL, Troy Vincent (Christi) Edmonds of Orlando, FL and Brett Matthew (April) Edmonds of Vero Beach, Fl; Two Sisters, Mary Lou (Bob) Martin of Flushing, MI and Beverly Jean Hollis of Chapel Hill, TN.; Four Brothers, Robert N (Joyce) Edmonds of Mt. Morris, MI, Wiley D. (Rosemary) Edmonds of Kingsley, MI., Murray (Blanche) Edmonds of Burton, MI, and Ron E. (Paulette) Edmonds of Winter Haven, FL; his mother-in-law, Madlyn Baldwin of Winter Haven, FL; a granddaughter, Brooke Ann Edmonds and a grandson, Christopher L. Tollinchi.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, January 6, 2007 in the Oak Ridge Funeral Care Chapel with Father Hugh McGlashon officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that Memorials be made in his name to the American Cancer Society 809 South Florida Ave. Lakeland, FL 33801.
